According to the electrical standards CESMEC & SEC PE N° 3/05 & IEC 61386, PVC conduits in the Chilean market are classified into five types: Type I to Type III, and Sch 40 and Sch 80 PVC conduits, with sizes ranging from 5/8 in to 160 mm (6 in). Schedule 80 PVC Conduit is heavy-duty conduit and can be used in large infrastructure, power plants, data centers, EV charging stations, etc.

Overview
CESMEC & IEC Certified. Ledes offers CESMEC & SEC PE N° 3/05 & IEC certified plastic conduits (PVC and LSZH optional), fully compliant with Chilean electrical codes.
Superior Physical Properties. Based on the above standards, Ledes Schedule 80 PVC conduit offers up to 1250 Nt/5cm and 6J Resistance to Compression & Resistance to Impact. Suitable for outdoor cable protection and critical infrastructure projects.
High Fire Rating. Ledes Sch 80 electrical conduit is UL94 V-0/5VA certified and effectively blocks UV rays (over 1440 hours of UV resistance testing), providing excellent protection for your cables under high temperatures and direct sunlight.
Waterproof & Corrosion Resistant. The plastic material offers excellent waterproof and corrosion resistance, and the optimized manufacturing process ensures stability in extreme environments such as coastal areas and chemical plants.

Product Description
SEC PE N° 3/05 and IEC 61386 are mandatory standards for electrical conduits in Chile. Only Schedule 40 and Sch 80 PVC conduit that comply with these standards can be install and sold on the market.
In addition to the standards mentioned above, ASTM and ISO certifications ensure product compliance in terms of raw materials and manufacturing processes. ASTM has very stringent requirements for raw materials, while ISO provides detailed requirements for factory production processes to ensure consistent product quality.
Ledes' Sch 80 electrical conduit (PVC or LSZH) has been certified by UL94 V-0/5VA fire rated, fully complies with Chile electrical code.
Up to 1250Nt Compression Resistance & 6J Impact Resistance can offer excellent conduit rigidity. The conduit is not easy to break or be damaged when subjected to external impact, thus protecting the internal cables.
