About Macau Island Hospital Project
The Macau Island Hospital bridges the gap between private and public health care services while providing citizens of Macau a full range of health services. The complete hospital construction works are expected to cost more than MOP10 billion, with the hospital to start operations in 2023 or 2024.
The Challenge
As a hospital project, it has extremely high requirements for fire rating, environmental protection and performance of the plastic conduit. Moreover, as a modern hospital, it also has high requirements for the plastic material and physical performance, and some items have even exceeded the requirements of relevant IEC standards.
Solution
By upgrading plastic raw materials, conduit formulas and manufacturing processes, Ledes’ third-generation LSZH conduit series successfully passed the project party’s evaluation and was approved for construction.
As the core supplier of the project, Ledes continued to provide high-quality electrical conduits and fittings for the project, including IEC & AS/NZS & UL certified low smoke zero halogen conduit and fittings, ensuring the project was completed on time and delivered successfully.
