A PVC conduit adapter is a PVC pipe fitting used to connect two PVC conduits to electrical enclosures. It is generally split into two types of connectors for rigid PVC conduits and corrugated pipes. Although the structure and appearance are different, the uses are exactly the same.
According to electrical codes, the common trade sizes of PVC conduit adapters include: 1/2 inch to 6 inches (North America), 20mm to 50mm (Australia and other countries). North America mainly uses ETL, UL and CSA certifications, while Australia and South America mainly apply to AS/NZS and IEC standards.
